18-year-old suspect arrested in Montpelier stabbing
MONTPELIER, Vt. —
The Montpelier Police Department arrested a suspect who allegedly stabbed someone multiple times.
Police recieved a report around 8:25 p.m on Monday about the stabbing at the Montpelier Transit Center at 61 Taylor Street.
The victim was taken to Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin for treatment.
About two hours after the stabbing, at approximately 10:28 p.m., police say they arrested 18-year-old Ayden Jestice, of Marshfield.
The Montpelier Police Department recieved assistance from Barre City Police and Vermont State Police in locating the suspect.
