$30,000 in equipment stolen from Sutton farm

SUTTON — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of approximately $30,000 worth of property from "Off Piste Farm" in Sutton. The theft is believed to have occurred on April 17, 2025, between 11:00am and 2:00pm.



According to troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks, a neighbor’s game camera captured individuals approaching the property around 11:53am and leaving at approximately 1:24pm. The stolen items were taken from a storage area on the farm’s land.

Go-kart and mini bike stolen from Swanton Tractor Supply


Vermont State Police are investigating a theft at Tractor Supply in Swanton, where suspects reportedly entered the store’s locked gated area on two separate occasions.



According to investigators, two individuals driving a Subaru Outback stole a mini bike and a go-kart on April 13 and April 16, 2025. Surveillance footage shows the vehicle may have a light-colored sticker in the rear window.

Motorcycle stolen from Waterbury driveway


Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 1974 Honda Passport motorcycle that was stolen from a residence on North Main Street around noon on April 15, 2025.



The motorcycle is yellow and white with a black seat, missing mirror, chipped splash guard, Solex 50 stickers, and a custom-welded trunk box. A witness reported seeing a young man in a green sweatshirt ride off on the vehicle.

Tools stolen from parked vehicle in St. Johnsbury


Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of approximately $600 worth of tools stolen from a parked vehicle at Ocean State Job Lot in St. Johnsbury.


The theft occurred sometime between 9:00am and 5:00pm on April 17, 2025. The vehicle belonged to Quentin Thomas of Waterford.

Montreal woman caught driving 112 mph in Milton


Anne Gill, 30, of Montreal, PQ, was cited for negligent operation after Vermont State Police clocked her vehicle traveling at 112 mph in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 89 in Milton.


The traffic stop occurred around 10:41pm on April 17, 2025. Gill was issued a $696 traffic violation and is scheduled to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court on May 29, 2025, at 8:30am.
