Alleged shooter arrested for second-degree attempted murder

ESSEX JUNCTION — The Colchester Police Department alongside other authorities arrested 19-year-old Sami Ettouzar for second-degree attempted murder and other charges June 3.

The arrest in Essex Junction yesterday followed a shooting that took place on Sharrow Circle in Colchester on May 26. Police responded to the shooting that day around 4 p.m. to find a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
