Police responded to an unspecified nighttime disturbance in Barre City on January 19. Police received reports around 9:30pm in a business parking lot near Summer Street.
One victim reported being threatened with a firearm.
Afterwards, police arrested 63-year-old Scott Landry of Barre Town for aggravated assault. Police also seized approximately 31.62 grams of cocaine in 36 individually wrapped baggies, 0.17 grams of crack cocaine, items to suggest drug sales, and $280 in cash.
Landry is also being charged with reckless endangerment, person prohibited from possessing a firearm, possession of cocaine, sales of cocaine, criminal threatening, use of a firearm while selling or dispensing drugs, and disorderly conduct.
Landry was held without bail and lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Center.
Missing man in Northfield
Police are still searching for Craig Murphy of Northfield who went missing on January 18.
Police say there is no reason to believe that he is in immediate danger or missing under suspicious circumstances, however there are concerns for his welfare.

Murphy is approximately 6 foot tall, 170 pounds, and possibly wearing jeans, cowboy boots, a hood and a green flannel.

Traffic stop leads to DUI
Vermont State Police pulled over Heather Allen, 32, of Newport Center on January 19 for a routine traffic stop.

When police pulled over the vehicle, they determined that Allen was under the influence and took her into custody.
She was later released with a citation to appear in the Caledonia County Superior Court on February 3.
Police arrest suspect in Sunoco burglary
Police have arrested Peter Marshall, 37, of Granville, NY in connection to a burglary which took place on Christmas day of 2024.
That day, at around 4:30am, police responded to an alarm at the Sunoco gas station located at 117 US RT 7 S in Rutland Town.
Two suspects had broken into the store through the front doorway and taken various items from within the store. The following photos were taken from CCTV footage at the gas station:
