Burglaries in Addison County believed connected

There have been a string of recent burglaries in northern Addison County.

One incident occurred at around 7 AM on November 19, the other on November 21 at around 5 PM.

The first happened at Wag On Inn in the Town of Waltham where the suspect or suspects broke through the front door and stole a cash register.

The second occurred in Ferrisburgh where at least three individuals arrived in a gray sedan and white minivan. The individuals broke through the glass of the Jolley convenience store and attempted to steal an ATM but instead left with around 50 cartons of cigarettes, worth around $5,000.

Later that morning at around 6 AM, VSP responded to an attempted burglary at Lincoln General Store, also involving a white minivan. According to reports, the suspects allegedly broke through the glass but fled when they realized the building was occupied.

This particular incident is reminiscent of another where an unidentified person attempted to steal an ATM from Kinney Drugs in Burlington. This incident also involved a gray sedan, a Mitsubishi.
