Burlington Police discover drugs in Decker Towers apartment search

Per the BPD:


On 6/19/2024 at approximately 8:50 AM, the Burlington Police Department’s Emergency Response Unit executed a Vermont State search warrant on an apartment within Decker Towers at 230 St Paul St, Burlington, VT. The search warrant was related to ongoing drug activity.


Members of the Vermont State Police Northern Drug Task Force assisted in the operation. Suspected illegal drugs and drug related paraphernalia were seized pursuant to the warrant. William F. Robinson, 50, of Connecticut, was taken into custody by Burlington Police for multiple outstanding warrants.



Following the search warrant, Burlington Police personnel and members of the Vermont State Police Northern Drug Task Force made contact with Walter Burbo, 55, of Burlington, VT, in a separate apartment within Decker Towers. Burbo was arrested on an outstanding drug related warrant.


We would like to thank the Vermont State Police and the Burlington Housing Authority for their assistance and collaboration throughout this investigation. The Burlington Police Department recognizes that working in partnership with the Burlington Housing Authority and addressing criminal activity, such as today’s operations, assist in making the building safer for all residents.
