SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Police say a man tried to assault a teenage girl in the University Mall parking garage in South Burlington Friday.
They say the 16-year-old girl reported being followed and that a man attempted to grab her but that another person intervened and the man ran away.
South Burlington Police are looking to speak with the owner of a Dodge Ram truck as well as whoever came to the aid of the teen.
Police say there are no known direct connections to this case and another incident this summer when a young woman said she was followed by a moped and a gray truck while jogging on Grandview Drive.
