BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont police are investigating reports of potential threats at two Vermont schools.
Police say they got reports on Tuesday of a potential threat to the Brattleboro Union High School campus.
Brattleboro police say they immediately collaborated with school staff to make sure the campus was safe and secure.
Officers determined there was no known threat to the school.
Now, they’re investigating to determine the source of those reports.
Vermont State Police are also investigating a possible threat at a Vermont school.
Troopers say on Tuesday they got an anonymous report of possible concerning Facebook posts directed at the Bethel Elementary School.
Police responded to investigate and stayed at the school until they concluded the posts were not threatening harm and the school was not in danger.
