Vermont man faces charges of arson, assault

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) - A Vermont man faces multiple charges after an incident in St. Albans on Tuesday that police say involved an arson fire, threats and assaults.

At about 2 p.m., Franklin County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on South Main Street for a report that Eric Honsinger was threatening a woman. When deputies got there, they found the building on fire and Honsinger gone.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
